  • 简介:摘要This analysis extrapolates information from prior studies and experiences to bring PM&R perspective and intervention to the multidisciplinary treatment of COVID-19. The purpose of pulmonary rehabilitation in COVID-19 patients is to improve symptoms of dyspnea, relieve anxiety, reduce complications, minimize disability, preserve function and improve quality of life. Pulmonary rehabilitation during the acute management of COVID-19 should be considered when possible and safe and may include nutrition, airway, posture, clearance technique, oxygen supplementation, breathing exercises, stretching, manual therapy, and physical activity. Given the possibility of long-term disability, outpatient post-hospitalization pulmonary rehabilitation may be considered in all patients hospitalized with COVID-19.

  • 简介:Insub-tropicalcoastalwatersaroundHongKong,algalbloomsandredtidesareusuallyfirstsightedintheMirsBay,intheeasternwatersofHongKong.Acalibratedthree-dimensionalhydrodynamicmodelforthePearlRiverEstuary(Delft3D)hasbeenappliedtothestudyofthephysicalhydrographyofHongKongwatersanditsrelationshipwithalgalbloomtransportpatternsinthedryandwetseasons.Thegeneral3Dhydrodynamiccirculationandsalinitystructureinthepartially-mixedestuaryarepresented.ExtensivenumericalsurfacedroguetrackingexperimentsareperformedforalgalbloomsthatareinitiatedintheMirsBayunderdifferentseasonal,windandtidalconditions.TheprobabilityofbloomimpactontheVictoriaHarbourandnearbyurbancoastalwatersisestimated.Thecomputationsshowthat:I)Inthewetseason(May~August),algalbloomsinitiatedintheMirsBaywillmoveinaclockwisedirectionoutofthebay,andbetransportedawayfromHongKongduetoSWmonsoonwindswhichdrivetheSWtoNEcoastalcurrent;ii)Inthedryseason(November~April),algalbloomsinitiatedinthenortheastMirsBaywillmoveinananti-clockwisedirectionandbecarriedawayintosouthernwatersduetotheNEtoSWcoastalcurrentdrivenbytheNEmonsoonwinds;thebloomtypicallyflowspasttheeastedgeoftheVictoriaHarbourandnearbywaters.Finally,theroleofhydrodynamictransportinanimportantepisodicevent-thespring1998massiveredtide-isquantitativelyexamined.ItisshownthatthestrongNEtoEwindduringlateMarchtoearlyApril,coupledwiththediurnaltideatthebeginningofApril,significantlyincreasedtheprobabilityofbloomtransportintothePortShelterandEastLammaChannel,resultinginthemassivefishkill.Theresultsprovideabasisforriskassessmentofharmfulalgalbloom(HAB)impactonurbancoastalwatersaroundtheVictoriaHabour.

  • 简介:Wehaveinvestigatedthephysicalproperties,includingthemorphology,texture,adhesionandchemicalquality,ofhigh-frequencychemicalvapourdepositeddiamondcoatingsonWC-6%Cosubstrates,whichwerepre-treatedbyatwo-stepetchingmethod.TheresultsindicatethattheincreasingCocontentfrom0.12to3.05%withintheetchingdepthof5μmcausedamorphologytransformationfromprismdiamondtospheruliticdiamond,andatexturetransformationfroma{111}orientationtoa{110}orientation.TheRamanspectrumshowsthatthespheruliticdiamondfilmcontainsmorenon-diamondphases(graphite,amorphouscarbonanddiamond-likecarbon,etc)andhaslowerchemicalqualitythandiamondfilmsonaWC-6%Cosubstrate.Thediamondcoatinggrainsizesbecameaboutfourtimessmallerwhenthedepositiontemperaturesonthesubstratesurfacewerereducedfrom1000to900℃.Comparedwithspheruliticdiamondfilms,theprismdiamondfilmsexhibitbetteradhesionontheWC-6%Cosubstrate.

  • 简介:TocomparethedevelopmentofphysicalcrustsinthreetypicalcultivatedsoilsofChina,ablacksoil(LuvicPhaeozem),aloesssoil(HaplicLuvisol),andapurplesoil(CalcaricRegosol)werepackedinsplashplateswithcoveredanduncoveredtreatments,andexposedtosimulatedrainfall.Meshescoveredabovethesurfacesofhalfofsoilsamplestosimulatetheeffectsofcropresidueoncrusting.Theresultsindicatedaprogressivebreakdownofaggregatesonthesoilsurfaceasrainfallcontinued.Thebulkdensityandshearstrengthonthesurfaceofthethreesoiltypesincreasedlogarithmicallyasrainfalldurationincreased.Duringthefirst30minofsimulatedrainfall,thepurplesoildevelopeda7-8mmthickcrustandtheloesssoildevelopeda3-4mmthickcrust.Theblacksoildevelopedadistinguishable,butstillunstable,crustafter80minofsimulatedrainfall.Soilorganicmatter(SOM)content,themeanweightdiameter(MWD)ofsoilaggregates,andsoilclaycontentwerenegativelycorrelatedwiththerateofcrustformation,whereasthepercentageofaggregatedispersion(PAD),theexchangeablesodiumpercentage(ESP),andthesiltandsandcontentswerepositivelycorrelatedwithcrusting.Mechanicalbreakdowncausedbyraindropimpactwastheprimarymechanismofcrustformationintheblacksoilwithmorestableaggregates(MWD25.0mm,PAD3.1%)andhigherSOMcontent(42.6gkg~(-1)).Slakingandmechanicaleluviationweretheprimarymechanismsofcrustformationinthepurplesoilwithlowclaycontent(103gkg~(-1)),cationexchangecapacity(CEC,228mmolkg~(-1)),ESP(0.60%),andSOM(17.2gkg~(-1)).MechanicalbreakdownandslakingwerethemostimportantintheloesssoilwithlowCEC(80.6mmolkg~(-1)),ESP(1.29%),SOM(9.82gkg~(-1)),andhighPAD(71.7%)andMWD(4.6mm).Simulatedresiduecoverreducedcrustformationinblackandloesssoils,butincreasedcrustformationinpurplesoil.
