ThispaperanalyzesthegovernmentcontrolofbuildingenergyefficiencyinChinafromtheaspectsofpoliciesandregulations,technicalstandards,pilotdemonstrationprojectsandeconomicmeans,andexpoundsthecharacteristicsandproblemsofgovernmentregulationpracticeinChina.Itisfoundthatthegovernmentregulationofbuildingenergyconservationinourcountryhassomeproblems,suchasimperfectsystem,weakincentivepolicy,imperfectmanagementsystem,andthelackofpublicparticipation.Throughthedeepanalysisoftheexistingproblems,itispointedoutthatthefundamentalreasonforthepooroperationofChina’sbuildingenergyefficiencymarketliesinthelackofunderstandingofthebuildingenergyefficiencymarket,thelackofgovernmentadministrativefunctionsandtheweakconsciousnessofthemainbody.
