Inthispaper,wedevotetoconstructingtheone-sidedempiricalBayes(EB)testforthelocationparameterintheGammadistributionbynonparametricmethod.Undersomemildconditions,weprovethattheEBtestisasymptoticallyoptimalwiththerateoftheorderO(n-δs/2s+1),where1/2≦δ<1ands>1isagivennaturalnumber.Anexampleisalsogiventoillustratethattheconditionsofthemaintheoremsareeasilysatisfied.
