Inhibitory Effects of Natural Compound Alantolactone on Human Non-small Cell Lung Cancer A549 Cells-中国期刊网

摘要 AlantolactoneisanaturalcompoundidentifiedfromtherootsofInulaheleniumL.thathasmultiplebio-activities.Weexamineditsinhibitoryeffectsonhumannon-smallcelllungcancer(NSCLC)A549cells.Thean-tiproliferativeeffectofalantolactoneonA549cellswasinvestigatedviaMTT[3′-(4,5dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazoliumbromide]assayanditsapoptosis-inducingeffectwasdeterminedbyHoechststainingandflowcytometry.WefoundthatalantolactonesignificantlyinhibitedtheproliferationofA549cellsandinducedmorphologicalchangestypicalforapoptosis.Flowcytometryanalysisindicatesdose-dependentcellcycleretardationatG0/G1andSstages.Theresultsindicatethatalantolactonecouldbeanattractivesmall-molecularnaturalcompoundforfurtherdevelopmentasatherapeuticdrugagainstNSCLC.
