Synthesis of Mg-Al-carbonate layered double hydroxide by an atom-economic reaction-中国期刊网

摘要 Acleanmethodforpreparinglayereddoublehydroxides(LDHs)hasbeendeveloped,featuredbyusingthehydroxidesoftwodifferentmetalsasstartingmaterialsbyatom-economicreactions.Thereactionswerecarriedoutunderhydrothermalconditionsineitherahighpressureautoclaveoramicrowavedigester.Thecompositions,structuralparametersandthermalbehavioroftheresultingLDHsareverysimilartothoseofmaterialsproducedbyusingtheseparatenucleationandagingsteps(SNAS)method.Themajoradvantageofthenewmethodisthatnoby-productisproduced,sothatfiltrationandwashingprocessesareunnecessary.Theconsequentreductioninwaterconsumptionisbeneficialtotheenvironment.
