摘要
Luminescentpolystyrenemicrosphereswereeasilyfabricatedfrompoly(styrene-co-methacrylicacid)andaqueousRE(III)chloridesolution(RE=Eu,Tb)inthepresenceof2,20-bipyridineassecondligand.Thenegativechargesofcarboxylgroupsonthesurfaceofmicrospherescoordinatedwithrareearthionsatfirst,suchascomplexescovalentlylinkedto2,20-bipyridine,resultinginstrongphotoluminescence.Variousmethods,includingtransmissionelectronmicroscope(TEM),scanningelectronmicroscope(SEM),energydispersivespectroscopy(EDS),Fouriertransforminfraredspectroscopy(FT-IR),andfluorescencespectrophotometer,wereusedtocharacterizetheresultantpolystyrenecompositemicrospheres.Thisworkhighlightstheideathatitisfaciletosynthesisluminescentmicrospheresbysurface-modifiedmethoddirectly.
