摘要
Differentoxygenandnitrogencontainingfunctionalgroupswerecreatedonthesurfaceofthemultiwalledcarbonnanotubes.Themulti-walledcarbonnanotubesweretreatedinultrasonicbathwithsulfuricornitricacid.Furthermorethesurfacetexturewasmodifiedbyincreaseoftheroughness.Inparticularaftertreatmentwiththeoxidizingnitricacid,incomparisontotheH_2SO_4orultra-sonictreatedsamples,cratersandedgesaredominatingthesurfacestructures.Manganeseoxidewasdepositedonthemultiwalledcarbonnanotubesbyprecipitationmechanism.Variousmanganeseoxidesareformedduringthedepositionprocess.Thesampleswerecharacterizedbyelementalanalysis,microscopy,thermalanalysis,Ramanspectroscopy,andbythezetapotentialaswellasX-raydiffractionmeasurements.Itwasshownthatthedepositedmanganeseoxidesarestabilizedratherbysurfacetextureofthemulti-walledcarbonnanotubesthanbycreatedfunctionalgroups.
