A robust shell element in meshfree SPH method

摘要 WiththeincorporationoftotalLagrangiansmoothedparticlehydrodynamics(SPH)methodequationandmovingleastsquare(MLS)function,thetraditionalSPHmethodisimprovedregardingthestabilityandconsistency.BasedonMindlin-Ressinerplatetheory,theSPHmethodsimulatingdynamicbehaviorviaonelayerofparticlesisappliedtoplate'smid-plane,i.e.,aSPHshellmodelisconstructed.Finally,throughcomparativeanalysesonthedynamicresponseofsquare,stiffenedshellsandcylindricalshellsundervariousstrongimpactloadswithcommonfiniteelementsoftware,thefeasibility,validityandnumericalaccuracyoftheSPHshellmethodareverified.Consequently,furtherresearchesonSPHshellmaywellpavethewaytowardssolvingproblemsinvolvingdynamicplasticdamage,tearingorevencrushing.
