简介:Objective:Toinvestigatetheprevalenceofpenicillinase-producingNeisseriagonorrhoeae(PPNG)inWuxi.Methods:NestedPCR(nPCR)wasusedtotestforthepresenceofβ-IactamaseDNAinurethralorcervicalswabsspecimensfrom217patientswithgonorrhea.OnenPCR-positiveproductwasrandomlyselectedforDNAsequencing.Results:PPNGwasfoundin60ofall217specimens(27.65%),andin33.87%(42/124)ofmaleand19.35%(18/93)offemalecases.ThenPCRproductwasidenticaltoaknownclinicalPPNGstrain.Conclusion:TheprevalenceofPPNGinSTDpatientsinWuxiisalarminglyhigh,andthismustbetakenintoconsiderationforsuccessfultreatmentandpreventionofgonorrheainfections.

简介:Evolutionarycomputationtechniqueshavemostlybeenusedtosolvevariousoptimizationproblems,anditiswellknownthatgraphisomorphismproblem(GIP)isanondeterministicpolynomialproblem.Asimulatedannealing(SA)algorithmfordetectinggraphisomorphismisproposed,andtheproposedSAalgorithmiswellsuitedtodealwithrandomgraphswithlargesize.ToverifythevalidityoftheproposedSAalgorithm,simulationsareperformedonthreepairsofsmallgraphsandfourpairsoflargerandomgraphswithedgedensities0.5,0.1,and0.01,respectively.ThesimulationresultsshowthattheproposedSAalgorithmcandetectgraphisomorphismwithahighprobability.
简介:It’swell-knownthatchange-pointproblemisanimportantpartofmodelstatisticalanalysis.Mostoftheexistingmethodsarenotrobusttocriteriaoftheevaluationofchange-pointproblem.Inthisarticle,weconsider'mean-shift'probleminchange-pointstudies.Aquantiletestofsinglequantileisproposedbasedonsaddlepointapproximationmethod.Inordertoutilizetheinformationatdifferentquantileofthesequence,wefurtherconstructa'compositequantiletest'tocalculatetheprobabilityofeverylocationofthesequencetobeachange-point.Thelocationofchange-pointcanbepinpointedratherthanestimatedwithinainterval.Theproposedtestsmakenoassumptionsaboutthefunctionalformsofthesequencedistributionandworksensitivelyonbothlargeandsmallsizesamples,thecaseofchange-pointinthetails,andmultiplechange-pointssituation.Thegoodperformancesofthetestsareconfirmedbysimulationsandrealdataanalysis.Thesaddlepointapproximationbaseddistributionoftheteststatisticthatisdevelopedinthepaperisofindependentinterestandappealing.Thisfindingmaybeofindependentinteresttothereadersinthisresearcharea.
