简介:ThispaperstudiesthedynamicresponsesofSDOFsystemunderpulse-dominantexcitations.Thepurposeofthestudyistoprepareforscrutinyofsomenear-fieldpulse-dominantgroundmotionsandtheirpotentialtocausestructuraldamage.Extendingthesinglepulsedynamics,weconsidertheeffectofpulsesequences.ThiskindofexcitationwasparticularlyobviousinsomeofpreviousearthquakessuchasNorthridge(1994)andChi-Chi(1995).Basedontheduration,peakandriseanddecayeraofthemainpulseaswellasitsrelationshipwiththepredecessorandsuccessorpulses,weproposeaclassificationforthepulsesequences.Consequentstudieshavebeencarriedoutforacceleration,velocityanddisplacementresponsespectraofthemainpulsewitheitherapredecessororasuccessorpulse.Theanalysisalsoincludesgeneralresponsebehaviorsindifferentfundamentalperiodsegmentsandspecialaspectsofresponseatcertainpoints(e.g.,thecorrespondingpeakpoints).

简介:TheapplicationoftherandombinaryphasecodedsignalintheCWradarsystemhasbeenlimitedbythedifficultytoisolatethetransmissionandreceptionsignal.Inordertomakeuseoftherandombinaryphasecodedsignal,therandombinaryphasecodedpulseradar(RBPC-PR)systemhasbeenstudied.First,theaverageambiguityfunction(AAF)oftheRBPC-PRsignalhasbeenanalyzed.Then,astatisticalmethodofreducingtherangesidelobe(RSL)ispresented.Finally,asignalprocessingschemeoftheRBPC-PRisdevdoped.Thesimulationresultsshowthatbyusingthescheme,thejammingimmunityofthesystem,theresolutionandaccuracyofdistanceandvelocityhavebeenimproved,andthedistanceandvelocityvaguenesscausedbyperiodscanalsoberemoved.TheRSLcanbereducedover30dBbythestatisticalaveragemethod,thustheprobabilityambiguitycausedbyrandomnoisecanbeavoided.

简介:Theoreticalandexperimentalresearchoflowfrequencypulsecompressionandchannelmatchinshallowwatersoundchannelwerecarriedoutbasedon2000-WinterYellowSeaexperiment.Usingpulsecompressionmethod,signalswithhighsignaltonoiseratio(SNR)werereceivedoverrangeof110kilometersintheexperiment.TheSNRgainintheprocessisconsistentwiththetheoreticalprediction.Theexperimentalmeasurementindicatedthatthechannelishighlycoherentoveralengthof500s.ChannelmatchmethodwasusedtocompensatethedegradationofpulsecompressionSNRcausedbythemulti-pathpropagation.AndtheSNRgaininthechannelmatchprocesscanbetheoreticallypredicted.ExperimentalresultsshowthatlowfrequencypulsecompressionandchannelmatchmethodcanbeusedinshallowwatersoundchanneltoimprovetheSNR.
