  • 简介:CongestioncontrolforpacketssentonanetworkisimportantforDAQsystemsthatcontainaneventbuilderusingswitchingnetworktechnologies.QualityofService(QoS)isatechniqueforcongestioncontrol.RecentLinuxreleasesprovideQoSinthekerneltomanagenetworktraffic.Wehaveanalyzedthepacket-lossandpacketdistributionfortheeventbuilderprototypeoftheAtlasTDAQsystem.WeusedPC/LinuxwithGigabitEthernetnetworkasthetestbed.TheresultshowedthatQoSusingCBQandTBFeliminatedpacketlossonUDP/IPtransferwhiletheUDP/IPtransferinbesteffortmadelotsofpacketloss.TheresultalsoshowedthattheQoSoverheadwassmall.WeconcludedthatQoSonLinuxperformedefficientlyinTCP/IPandUDP/IPandwillhaveanimportantroleoftheAtlasTDAQsystem.

  • 简介:Concreteinreinforcedconcretestructure(RC)isgenerallyundersignificantcompressivestressload.Toguaranteerequiredqualityandductility,varioustestshavetobeconductedtomeasuretheconcrete'scompressivestrengthbasedonACI(AmericanConcreteInstitute)code.Investigationsofrecentdevastatingcollapsesofstructuresaroundtheworldshowedthatsomeofthecollapsesdirectlyresultedfromthepoorqualityoftheconcrete.Thelessonlearnedfromthesetragediesisthatguaranteeinghighqualityofconcreteisoneofthemostimportantfactorsensuringthesafetyofthereinforcedconcretestructure.Inordertoensurehighqualityofconcrete,anewmethodforanalyzingandevaluatingtheconcreteproductionprocessiscalledfor.Inthispaper,theindicesoffitandstabledegreeareproposedasbasistoevaluatethefitnessandstabilityofconcrete'scompressivestrength.Thesetwoindicesarecombinedtodefineandevaluatethequalityindexofthecompressivestrengthofconcrete.Principlesofstatisticsareusedtoderivethebestestimatorsoftheseindices.Basedontheoutcomeofthestudy,aconcretecompressivestrengthqualitycontrolchartisproposedasatooltohelptheevaluationprocess.Finally,anewevaluationproceduretoassessthequalitycontrolcapabilityoftheindividualconcretemanufacturerisalsoproposed.

  • 简介:Thispaperpresentsamethodusingsimplephysicalvapourdepositiontoformhigh-qualityhafniumsiliconoxyni-tride(HfSiON)onultrathinSiO2bufferlayer.Thegatedielectricwith10A(1A=0.1nm)equivalentoxidethicknessisobtained.TheexperimentalresultsindicatethatthepreparedHfSiONgatedielectricexhibitsgoodphysicalandelectricalcharacteristics,includingverygoodthermalstabilityupto1000C,excellentinterfaceproperties,highdielectricconstant(k=14)andlowgate-leakagecurrent(Ig=1.9×103A/cm2@Vg=Vfb1VforEOTof10A).TaNmetalgateelectrodeisintegratedwiththeHfSiONgatedielectric.TheeffectiveworkfunctionofTaNonHfSiONis4.3eV,meetingtherequirementsofNMOSforthemetalgate.And,theimpactsofsputteringambientandannealingtemperatureontheelectricalpropertiesofHfSiONgatedielectricareinvestigated.

  • 简介:Ionization-inducedelectroninjectioninlaserwakefieldaccelerators,whichwasrecentlyproposedtolowerthelaserintensitythresholdforelectrontrappingintothewakewave,hasthedrawbackofgeneratingelectronbeamswithlargeandcontinuousenergyspreads,severelylimitingtheirfutureapplications.Complextargetdesignsbasedonseparatingtheelectrontrappingandaccelerationstageswereproposedastheonlywayforgettingsmallenergy-spreadelectronbeams.Here,basedontheself-truncatedionization-injectionconceptwhichrequirestheuseofunmatchedlaser–plasmaparametersandbyusingtensofTWlaserpulsesfocusedontoagasjetofheliummixedwithlowconcentrationsofnitrogen,wedemonstratesingle-stagelaserwakefieldaccelerationofmulti-hundredMeVelectronbuncheswithenergyspreadsofafewpercent.TheexperimentalresultsareverifiedbyPICsimulations.

  • 简介:Inthispaper,weproposeaghostimagingschemewithfastWalsh–Hadamardtransform,namedGIFWHT.Inthescheme,Walsh–Hadamardpatternpairsareusedtoilluminateanobjecttogeneratepairsofdetectionresults,andthecorrespondingdifferentialdetectionresultisusedastheresultasthatfromtheconventionalbucketdetector.ByperformingthefastWalsh–Hadamardtransformon2~k(kisapositiveinteger)differentialdetectionresults,theimageoftheobjectcanberecovered.TheexperimentalandnumericalsimulationresultsshowthatthereconstructiontimeofGIFWHTisgreatlyreduced,andthequalityoftherecoveredimageisnoticeablyimproved.Inaddition,GIFWHTisrobustagainstinterferencefromenvironmentalilluminationandcouldsavememory.

  • 简介:Potassiumdihydrogenphosphate(KDP)singlecrystalsaretheonlynonlinearcrystalscurrentlyusedforelectro-opticswitchesandfrequencyconvertersininertialconfinementfusionresearch,duetotheirlargedimensionandexclusivephysicalproperties.Basedonthetraditionalsolution-growthprocess,largebulkKDPcrystals,usuallywithsizesupto600×600mm2soastomakeafrequencydoublerforthefacilityrequirementloadinghighlyfluxofpowerlaser,canbegrowninstandardHolden-typecrystallizers,withoutspontaneousnucleationandvisibledefects,onetotwoordersofmagnitudefasterthanbyconventionalmethods.PurewaterandKDPrawmaterialwithafewionimpuritiessuchasFe,Cr,andAl(lessthan0.1ppm)wereused.Therapid-growthmethodincludesextremeconditionssuchastemperaturerangefrom60to35℃,overcoolingupto5℃,growthratesexceeding10mm/day,andcrystalsizeupto600mm.TheopticalparametersofKDPcrystalsweredetermined.Theopticalpropertiesofcrystalsdeterminedindicatethattheyareoffavorablequalityforapplicationinthefacility.

  • 简介:DistributedBraggreflectors(DBRs)areessentialcomponentsforthedevelopmentofoptoelectronicdevices.Inthispaper,wefirstreporttheuseofthenanoporousGaN(NP-GaN)DBRasatemplateforregrowthofInGaN-basedlight-emittingdiodes(LEDs).Thewafer-scaleNP-GaNDBR,whichisfabricatedbyelectrochemicaletchinginaneutralsolution,hasasmoothsurface,highreflectivity(>99.5%),andwidespectralstopbandwidth(>70nm).ThechemicalcompositionoftheregrownLEDthinfilmissimilartothatofthereferenceLED,butthephotoluminescence(PL)lifetime,PLintensity,andelectroluminescenceintensityoftheLEDwiththeDBRareenhancedseveraltimescomparedtothoseofthereferenceLED.TheintensityenhancementisattributedtothelightreflectioneffectoftheNP-GaNDBRandimprovedcrystallinequalityasaresultoftheetchingscheme,whereastheenhancementofPLlifetimeisattributabletothelatter.

  • 简介:A100-J-levelNd:glasslasersysteminnanosecond-scalepulsewidthhasbeenconstructedtoperformasastandardsourceofhigh-fluence-laserscienceexperiments.Thelasersystem,operatingwithtypicalpulsedurationsof3–5nsandbeamdiameter60mm,employsasequenceofsuccessiverodamplifierstoachieve100-J-levelenergyat1053nmat3ns.Thefrequencyconversioncanprovideenergyof50-Jlevelat351nm.Inadditiontothehighstabilityoftheenergyoutput,themostvaluableofthelasersystemisthehighspatiotemporalbeamqualityoftheoutput,whichcontainstheuniformsquarepulsewaveform,theuniformflat-topspatialfluencedistributionandtheuniformflat-topwavefront.

  • 简介:Fractionalpyrolysisandone-steppyrolysisofnaturalalgaeCyanobacteriafromTaihuLakewerecomparativelystudiedfrom200to500°C.One-steppyrolysisproducedbio-oilwithcomplexcompositionandlowhighheatingvalue(HHV30.9MJ/kg).FractionalpyrolysisseparatedthedegradationofdifferentcomponentsinCyanobacteriaandimprovedtheselectivitytoproductsinbio-oil.Thatis,acidsat200°C,amidesandacidsat300°C,phenolsandnitrilesat400°C,andphenolsat500°C,weregotasmainproducts,respectively.HZSM-5couldpromotethedehydration,crackingandaromatizationofpyrolyticintermediatesinfractionalpyrolysis.AtoptimalHZSM-5catalystdosageof1.0g,theselectivitytoproductsandthequalityofbio-oilwereimprovedobviously.Themainproductsinbio-oilchangedtonitriles(47.2%)at300°C,indoles(51.3%)andphenols(36.3%)at400°C.Theoxygencontentwasreducedto7.2wt%and9.4wt%,andtheHHVwasraisedto38.1and37.3MJ/kgat300and400°C,respectively.Fractionalcatalyticpyrolysiswasproposedtobeanefficientmethodnotonlytoprovideapotentialsolutionforalleviatingenvironmentalpressurefromwaterblooms,butalsotoimprovetheselectivitytoproductsandobtainhighqualitybio-oil.
