  • 简介:Background:Psychologicalstressandrecoverymonitoringisakeyissueforincreasingathletes’health,well-being,andperformance.Thismultistudyreportexaminedchangesandthedoseàresponserelationshipsbetweenrecoveryàstresspsychologicalstates,trainingload(TL),heartrate(HR),heartraterecovery(HRR),andheartratevariability(HRV)whileprovidingevidenceforthefactorialvalidityofashortFrenchversionoftheRecoveryàStressQuestionnaireforAthletes(RESTQ-36-R-Sport).Methods:Fourhundredandseventy-threeuniversityathletes(Study1),72fullexpertswimmers(Study2),and11nationaltointernationalswimmers(Study3)participatedinthestudy.Datawereanalyzedthroughconfirmatoryfactoranalyses(Study1),repeatedANOVAsandcorrelationalanalyses(Study2),ttestsandcorrelationalanalyses(Study3).Results:Multiple-groupconfirmatoryfactoranalysesshowedthattheRESTQ-36-R-Sportscoreswerepartiallyinvariantacrossgender,typeofsport,andpracticelevel(Study1).AdoseàresponserelationshipwasperformedbetweenTLandRESTQ-36-R-Sportscoresduringanecologicaltrainingprogram(Study2).Finally,relationshipswerefoundbetweenphysiological(HRR)andpsychological(RESTQ-36-R-Sport)statesduringanecologicaltaperingperiodleadingtoanationalchampionship(Study3).Conclusion:Asawhole,thesefindingsprovidedevidencefortheusefulnessoftheshortversionoftheRESTQ-36-R-Sportforregularmonitoringtopreventpotentialmaladaptationduetointensivecompetitivesportpractice.
