摘要
Thelowlatitudeeasterliesat200hPainsummer(May-October)isanalysedclimaticallyduringthe13-yearperiodfrom1968to1980,withaspecialemphasisontherelationshipsbetweentheanomaloustropicaleasterlyjetStreamoverSouthAsiaandthelowlatitudeatmosphericcirculation,andalsothesummermonsoonprecipitationinIndia.ThecompositinganalysisshowsthatthetropicaleasterlyjetstreamoverSouthAsiahasfiveanomalouspatternsat200hPai.e.thewesternpattern,middlepattern,easternpattern,two-branchpatternandmulti-corepattern.EvidencehasshownthattheprecipitaioninIndiaanomalouslyincreasedduringtheanomalousperiodofthewesternpatternandthemiddlepattern,butreversecaseistrueintheeasternpattern.SomedifferentanomaliesoftheprecipitationindifferentareaofIndiawerefoundduringtheothertwoanomalouspattern.
