摘要
Overthepast25years,anannualaverageof6to7tropicalcyclones(TCs)madelandfallonChinamainlandandHainanIslandwithanaverageintensityof29.9m/satlandfallandmaintainedatleasttropicalstormintensityfor15.6hoursoverland,leadingto505deathsand37billionyuanindirecteconomicloss,whichaccountedfor0.4%oftheannualGDPofChina.Althoughtherewaslittlechangeintheoveralllandfallfrequency,intensityatlandfallandoverlandduration,theannualtotaldirecteconomiclossincreasedsignificantlyduetotherapideconomicdevelopmentoverthepast25years.Underglobalwarming,theintensityofTCsthatmadelandfallonHainandecreasedbuttheoverlanddurationandfrequencyofTCsthatmadelandfallonFujianandZhejiangincreased.Atthenationalandprovinciallevels,theratioofthedirecteconomiclosstoGDPandcasualtiescausedbylandfalltropicalcyclonesdecreased,suggestingtheeffectivenessofdisasterpreventionandreductioninChina.
