Morphologies and Superhydrophobicity of Hybrid Film Surfaces Based on Silica and Fluoropolymer

摘要 Fluoropolymeranddifferentkindsofsilicaparticleswereusedforcontrollingsurfacechemistryandmorphology,respectively.Asuperhydrophobicsurfaceoriginatedfromstrawberry-likeorquincunx-shapedcompositesilicaparticleswasobtained.Thedualsizeparticlesareobtainedbyutilizingthegraftofdifferentmodifiedsilicaparticleswithepoxyfunctionalgroupandaminefunctionalgroup.Thismakesthesurfaceoffilmformacompositeinterfacetohaveirregularbinarystructurewhichplaysanessentialroleintrappingairbetweenthesubstratesurfaceandtheliquiddropletstobenecessaryforhighcontactangleandlowcontactanglehysteresis.Themaximumcontactangleforwateronthehybridfilmisabout174±2°andthecontactanglehysteresisislessthan2°.Thesurfacemorphologies,roughnessandthewettabilityonthesurfaceoffilmscontainingdifferentstructuralsilicaparticleswerecompared.Itwasshownthatthehierarchicalirregularlystructurewithalowroughnessfactorandhighair-trappedratioisindispensableforsuperhydrophobicsurface.Althoughthisstructuralsurfacesbasedoncompositesilicaparticlesplayavitalroleingoverningthesurfacewettability,itisnecessarytocombinewithalowsurfaceenergytomakethesurfacesuperhydrophobic.
