摘要 Beingoneofthemostabundantintracellularproteins，heatshockproteins(HSPs)havemanyhousekeepingfunctionswhicharecrucialforthesurvivaloforganisms．Inaddition,someHSPsarenewimmunoactivemoleculeswhichplayimportantrolesinbothadaptiveandinnateimmunity．TheycouldactivateCD8^+andCD4^+lymphocytes，induceinnateimmuneresponseincludingnaturalkiller(NK)cellactivationandcytokinesecretion，andinducematurationofdendriticcells(DCs)．Thesecharacteristicshavebeenusedforimmunotherapyofvarioustypesofcancersandinfectiousdisenses．ThisreviewfocusesonthemainHSPfamilies——HSP70and90families．ThemechanismofHSPs’functioninelicitingimmuneresponseareelucidatedandvariousformsofHSPsusedinimmunotherapyarediscussedindetails．Attheendofthisreview,authorssummarizeclinicaltrialsrelatedtoHSPsandevaluatetheirclinicalefficacy．
