On the Origin of Bronze Belt Plaques of Ancient Nomads in Northern China

摘要 Thebronzeplaquesdecoratedwithanimal,humanorgeometricdesignsweretheornamentsontheleatherbeltsofthenomadicpeople,suchasXiongnu(Hun)andXianbei(Sienpi)inNorthernChinaintheQinandHanDynasties.Theseplaqueshaduniqueregionalandethnicalcharacteristics.Therehavebeenmanydifferentideasontheoriginationofthiskindofplaques.Theauthorplanstogivehisownopinionherebyonthisissue.
