摘要 Fromaneconomicangle,thispaperanalyzesanddemonstratestheirrationalityofthecurrentInternetsettlementofInterconnection;thenpointsoutthattheheavychargesforInternetinterconnectionfromdevelopingcountriestothedevelopedcountrycanbethoughtofasoneofthemainandkeyreasonsthatrestrictthebalanceddevelopmentoftheInternetintheworld,whichcausestheintensificationof'digitaldivide',widensthegapbetweenpoorandrichcountriesandfurtheraggravatesthedisequilibriumoftheglobaleconomicdevelopment;andthustheconclusionisreached:thepublicpolicyselectionshouldbemadebythewholeinternationalsocietyjointlyforpayingcloseattentionandregulatingsettlementsystemsofInternetinterconnectiontodwindle'digitaldivide'throughouttheworld.
