摘要
Hightemperaturelatentthermalstorageisoneofthecriticaltechniquesforasolardynamicpowersystem.Thispaperpresentsresultsfromheattransferanalysisofaphasechangesaltcontainmentcanister.Athree-dimensionalanalysisprogramisdevelopedtomodelheattransferinaPCMcanister.Analysisincludeeffectsofasymmetriccircumferenceheatflux,conductionincanisterwalls,liquidPCMandsolidPCM,voidvolumechangeandvoidlocation,andconductionandradiationacrossPCMvaporvoid.ThePCMphasechangeprocessismodeledusingtheenthalpymethodandthesimulationresultsarecomparedwiththoseofothertwo-dimensionalinvestigations.It'sshownthattherearelargedifferencewithtwo-dimensionalanalysis,thereforethethree-dimensionalmodelisnecessaryforsystemdesignofhightemperaturelatentthermalstorage.
