The Paleoclimatic Variation Records of Carbonate and Iron Oxides in the Weinan Loess Section-中国期刊网

摘要 ThecontentsanddistributionsofCaCO3,Fe2O3.FeOandfreeFe2O3intheWeinanloesssectionofShaanxiProvinceofChinawereinvestigatedthroughdensesampling.TheresultsshowthatthecontentsofCaCO3andtherationofFe2O3/FeOmaybechosenasproxyindicesfortheprecipitationandtemperaturechangesintheformationtimeofthestrata,respectively.Accordingtothesegeochemicalindices,sixstagesofplaeoclimateevolutionareproposedinthisregionsince142kaB.P.,andsecondaryclimatechangesarediscussedaswellbasedonthecurvesofgeochemicalindices.
