Microstructure and toughness of local brittle zone of HSLA steel multipass weld metals

摘要 Byusingthermo-simulation,AugeranalysisandCharpyⅤimpacttestandwiththeobservationofthemicrostructuresinwhichcleavagecrackwasinitiated,themorphologyandtoughnessofthelocalbrittlezoneofC-MnandCr-Ni-Momultipassweldmetalshavebeeninvestigated.TheresultsindicatedthatthelocalbrittlezoneinC-MnweldmetalswithlowandhighMn%andCr-Ni-Moweldmetalsisdifferent.Withstatisticalanalysis,ithasbeenrevealedthatthemorethelocalbrittlezoneandthelowertheirtoughness,thelowerthetoughnessoftheentireweldmetals.Thealloyelementshaveanoticeableinflu-enceonthetoughnessofthelocalbrittlezone,therebychangingthetoughnessofweldmetals.
