Accordingtothedifferentelderlycare-givers,wedividedelderlycareintofivemodels.Theyarerelative-care-givermodel,friend-care-givermodel,volunteer-care-givermodel,market-supply-caremodelandwelfaremodel.WithanalysisofthesamplesurveyaboutelderlycareinruralHubeiProvince,wefindthattherearesomeseriousproblemsaboutdailycarefortheoldpeople,suchassingleelderlycaremodel,ahugegapofdemandandsupplyofdailycareforoldpeople,anddeterioratingelderlycareproblem.Thecausesoftheproblemsaretheweakeningoffamilysupportfortheold,theinsufficientofwelfaremodelandmarket-supply-caremodel.Tosolvetheproblems,theformalsupportfortheoldpeopleshouldbeincreased,andthefunctionofmarketshouldbestrengthened.Atthesametime,familysupportshouldcontinuetoplayanimportantroleintheelderlycare.
