摘要
Forestgrowthismainlycurrentlymonitoredusingin-situmeasurementsinnortheastofChina.Toeffectivelymonitorforestgrowthdisturbanceatlargescale,weattemptedtouseremotesensingtechnique,particularly,timeseriesMODISdatafrom2004to2006.Theannualtimeseriesof8-dayenhancedvegetationindex(EVI)datasetwasgeneratedandsmoothedusingaSavitzky-Golayfilter.TheEVItrajectoryduringgrowthseasonwassimulatedusingalogisticmodel.Fromthesimulatedtrajectory,theEVIareaofgrowthseasonandannualEVIentropywerecalculated.Thesetwofactorswerecombinedtomapthedisturbanceregionsofforestgrowth.Finally,thedisturbanceregionswereverifiedusingasetofrandomsamples.Theresultindicatesthatthedisturbancepointshavedistinctivelyhigherentropyandlowerpeak.SomeofthesepointsalsoshowabruptEVIdeclineduringthemidseasonofthepeakphasesordoublepeaks.Thisapproachisdemonstratedtobefeasiblefordisturbancemonitoringofforestgrowth.
